CompTia Network+ Certification

The CompTIA Network+ certification demonstrates your technical abilities in network administration and support, and validates your knowledge of media and topologies, protocols and standards, network implementation, and network support. The skills and knowledge measured by this exam are derived from an industry-wide and worldwide job task analysis and a survey to validate the job task analysis. The survey results were used to weight the test domains and ensure that the weightings are representative of the job requirements. Network + is an excellent prerequisite choice before the Cisco's CCNA exam, since it is vendor independent.

  • Examine Infrastructure of a Local Area Network

ABCO Technology recommends students to complete the following courses as prerequisites for Network+ ecrtification. These courses will help students to better understand the topics and materials covered:

  • A+ Certification: Core Hardware

  • A+ Certification: Operating System

 

The course duration for CompTia Network+ certification is 48 hours. Classes and lectures are held twice per week. Each class session is comprised of 4 hours. ABCO Technology recommends the students to spend additional time in lab practising the topics covered in class. Instructors and Lab assistants are available to help students with their practise.
