The standard CIW track includes three levels of certification. These levels are as follows
Certified CIW Associates possess the basic hands-on skills and knowledge that Internet professionals are expected to understand and use. Foundational skills include basic knowledge of Internet technologies, network infrastructure, and Web authoring using HTML. The CompTia Inet+ is considered as an equivalent to this course.
CIW candidates attain CIW Professional status upon earning the CIW Associate certification and passing any one of eight CIW job-role exams. CIW Professional certifications can be earned in disciplines such as Web site design, security, server administration, application development or database management.
CIW Professional candidates can then choose to obtain master level CIW certification and choose a specific job role according to their interest and skills. These master level certifications as shown in the track image are
